Quds Bank donates emergency medical supplies, at a value of 50 thousand U.S. Dollars, to aid the hospitals of Gaza

 

Ramallah – 23/07/2014 – Quds Bank has donated toady, Wednesday, emergency medicines and medical equipment to the hospitals of the Strip at a value of 50,000 U.S. Dollars; proceeding from it social responsibility and the Bank’s keenness to contribute in supporting the resilience of our people in the Gaza Strip in light of the continuous barbarian aggression which they are subjected to, and to aid all those injured from children, women and elders.  

This aid comes within a series of activities undertaken by the Bank to offer nutritional aid and basic health requirements, whereas the Bank has undertaken several activities during the past period most recently was, a blood donation campaign carried out by the employees of the Bank in the various governorates of the country in cooperation with the National Blood bank. In addition to distributing food parcels to families in need in cooperation with the Welfare Association, as well as donating medicines and medical supplies.

For his part, Quds Bank General Manager, SameehSubaih, has commented by saying that: “the Bank did not hesitate to donate medicines and medical supplies to the hospitals of the Strip at a value of 50 thousand U.S. Dollars. Our donation today stems from a humanitarian and relief perspective to the distress calls of the people of Gaza in order to cover the severe deficit in medicines and medical supplies. He also added by saying that: “this is the least we can do to aid the civilians in the Gaza Strip, and it is an obligation of all the companies and institutions of the Palestinian private sector to offer aid to our people in Gaza in light of prevailing situation. 

Quds Bank’s contributions stems from its social and humanitarian responsibility towards the Palestinian people of the Gaza Strip and their dire needs in all aspects of life, especially medical and relief services, in addition to basic and nutritional needs.
